Ms Phillips, who spoke with Sky News host Andrew Bolt from Jerusalem, said “more than a thousand rockets” came in overnight. “Which is quite unprecedented,” she said. “But what’s going on in Jerusalem and in other cities with mixed Jewish and Arab populations is that the Israeli-Arabs for the first time, are taking part in this war against Israel; war against the Jews. “These are terrible scenes.”

Israel-Palestine conflict death toll continues to climb | Sky News Australia: The death toll in the ongoing Palestinian, Israel conflict has climbed to 40 while more than 200 people each from Israel and Palestine are injured. The most tense skirmish between Israel and Palestine since 2014 began more than a week ago and has claimed 35 lives in the Gaza Strip and five in Israel. The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed more than 200 Palestinians have been injured while a similar number of Israelis have suffered from the clashes. The Israeli Defence Forced claimed more than 1000 rockets were fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip with most being intercepted by the Iron Dome Missile Defence System. The IDF has also claimed to have struck more than 500 targets killing multiple high-profile militant leaders.
