Biden administration no longer sees itself ‘leading a coalition against Iran and China’ | Sky News Australia: Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Michael Doran says the Biden administration has a “faulty theory” it can create a balance in the Middle East.
“They have a theory, the Biden administration, I think it’s a very faulty theory, that they can create a balance in the Middle East between their traditional allies and Iran,” Mr Doran said, a former Bush administration National Security Council senior director.
“They kind of see themselves no longer as leading a coalition against Iran and China but just holding a kind of balance between the forces in the region because they don’t truly believe that the Chinese are trying to oust us from the region.”
Mr Doran said that was a “very faulty assumption”.

"No, China is not into world domination if you mean sending armies into every corner of the word, but it managed to invade Tibet, gone to war with Vietnam, killed Indian troops over disputed borders, taken the South China Sea, claims some islands around Japan, threatens to invade Taiwan and sent warships into territories claimed by the Philippines.
"This dictatorship wants to set rules for the rest of us. That's the global domination that I really fear."
