Biden ‘weakening’ US military with ‘green push’ as enemies circle | Sky News Australia: President Joe Biden is “determined to weaken America and her military”, according to Sky News host James Morrow.
He said the president’s efforts were “making a mockery of a century’s worth of shared sacrifice” and would embolden enemies of the free world.
Speaking at a climate summit earlier this week, Mr Biden's “green eco-warrior posturing” reached new heights of “silliness”, according to Mr Morrow.
“The Biden administration's push to 'go green' and force its friends and allies like Australia to do the same … is also going to weaken America's ability to project power around the world,” he said.
“As enemies circle, Biden is also proposing making cuts in real terms to America's national defense budget.”
Mr Morrow said China was engaging in “increasingly muscular” manoeuvres when it comes to Taiwan while Russia is conducting an unprecedented military build-up on its borders with Ukraine.
“Donald Trump, for all his flaws, understood that thugs like Xi and Putin spoke in the language of force, and that as bullies, they would be goaded by weakness,” he said.

Examining the credentials of the Biden Administration’s Top Health Adviser Xavier Becerra, Mr Jones pointed out he had “no background in healthcare” but a long history of supporting radical abortion policy.
“The only relation with healthcare he has is he’s a supporter of radical abortion. He’s supported partial birth abortion and even worse this guy tried to file criminal complaints against activists in America who exposed the baby parts sales of planned parenthood.”
Turning next to Top US Civil Rights Attorney Kristen Clarke, Mr Jones said she was a “radical leftist” who circulated papers in college “comparing the police to the Ku Klux Klan”.
“This is the woman Joe Biden has tasked with investigating police in the United States,” he said.

Biden administration no longer sees itself ‘leading a coalition against Iran and China’ | Sky News Australia: Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Michael Doran says the Biden administration has a “faulty theory” it can create a balance in the Middle East.
“They have a theory, the Biden administration, I think it’s a very faulty theory, that they can create a balance in the Middle East between their traditional allies and Iran,” Mr Doran said, a former Bush administration National Security Council senior director.
“They kind of see themselves no longer as leading a coalition against Iran and China but just holding a kind of balance between the forces in the region because they don’t truly believe that the Chinese are trying to oust us from the region.”
Mr Doran said that was a “very faulty assumption”.
